Non-Profit: Vegetarians of Washington
Site description: The site looks like it was created by an amateur on a low budget, with a hokey font; the content skews to the left rather than being centered on the page. The sidebar is on the right instead of the left, which throws off my mental model of how a site should be designed.
Audience: Vegetarians living in Washington state, judging from the organizations’ mission; the poor site design suggests that most are probably not digital natives.
Business/Site Goals: The goals of this mission are to support Washington vegetarians and to convince others of the benefit of a vegetarian diet. They also host a yearly event, advertised prominently on the homepage.
Technologies used: A simple webpage that looks like it was created in Dreamweaver, so probably some CSS involved.
